Introducing Dr Nicholas Pearce:

Chief Professor and Dean of the UCHMSc. 

 

A journey of Dedication and Achievement. Dr. Nicholas Pearce is a visionary leader whose journey from humble beginnings to esteemed dean of the UCHMSc. Is nothing short of inspiring. Driven by the relentless pursuit of knowledge and passion for healing, Dr. Pearce’s trajectory embodies the transformative power of perseverance and determination. 

 

Dr. Pearce’ humble beginnings started out as one of the UK's first pioneering fully qualified male beauty therapists. From these early beginnings, he embarked on a journey of continuous learning and professional growth, ascending the ladder to success with unwavering resolve. Gaining diplomas in Osteopathy and acupuncture, then attending university to study Applied Biochemistry and Microbiology. 

 

His eventual tenure as a consultant Electrologist in the NHS (and completion of his PhD) marked the beginning of a distinguished career dedicated to healthcare excellence. Dr. Pearce’s thirst for knowledge led him to continue his studies in Glasgow where he trained in the NHS in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. This played a pivotal role in his next acquisition of knowledge, where he studied for a Master of Phytotherapy and completed a Medical Doctorate in Alternative Medicines specialising in Naturopathy, Osteopathy, Medical Herbalism, and Acupuncture. 

 

Possessing also regulated teaching and examiner qualifications, Dr. Pearce brings a wealth of expertise and a deep understanding of healthcare and the role as Dean of UCHMSc. His leadership is characterised by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and holistic well-being of students, staff and patients alike, and heads a team of like-minded dedicated educationalists who are also continually developing their knowledge and skills. 

 

Under his guidance, our team of educators, clinicians and researchers work tirelessly to the highest standards within the industry. Dr. Pearce’s vision for UCHMSc is one of inclusivity and empowerment, where each member of the team is valued for their unique perspectives and contributions. All nurturing the next generation of holistic healthcare practitioners, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, ethics, and compassion needed to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. Their unwavering dedication ensures that UCHSMc remains at the forefront of Naturopathic and Napropathic education, setting new standards for excellence.
